The Briggsdale Classic is open to all youth 19 & under.

Entry Fees — See each individual class listed below.

Class premiums will be paid.

$150 awarded for Overall Grand Champion Market Goat, Lamb & Beef

$100 awarded for Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat, Lamb & Beef

Pee Wee Market Beef/Bucket Calf Contest
    • $5 entry fee
    • Open to youth 8 and under
    • Prizes will be given to all Pee Wee Market Beef contestants
Pasture Prospect Market Beef Showmanship & Classes
  • $20/animal entry fee
  • Classed by weight
  • All classes & jackpot amounts are subject to change depending on the number of participants
  • Open to youth 9 to 19
  • Exhibitors need only bring a halter-broke & washed market heifer or steer
  • Heifers/steers born after 1/1/04
  • Ultrasound measurements will be recorded
  • overall grand and reserve champion determined by 50% ring placement / 50% ultrasound data
  • No wash racks available
  • No trimming allowed
Market Goat & Market Lamb Classes
  • $10/animal entry fee
  • Classed by weight
  • All classes & jackpot amounts are subject to change depending on the number of participants
  • Market Goat Jackpot Classes sanctioned by the Mountain States Meat Goat Association
  • Belt buckles to overall champion & Reserve Champion Market Goat
Showmanship
  • $5 entry
  • Belt buckles awarded to Senior, Intermediate & Junior Goat, Lamb & Beef Showmanship winners
  • Awards for Pee Wee Showmanship
  • Showmanship classes and awards are subject to change depending on ages
